"Beautiful Travel Agency" (BT) is located in Certaldo, a small village in between Florence and Siena, which is only a few kilometers from San Gimignano and Volterrra, in the heart of Toscany. Certaldo has also given birth to the famous Italian writer Boccaccio, who has left his mark on this wonderful old village through the centuries, with his sense of beauty and art and his love and passion for human nature.

"Beautiful Travel" has been working in turism for more than 20 years and has witnessed the birth and development of the first farmhouses for tourists stays in the area. These country structrures have since then grown, and have reached high standards of qualtity and services for their guests.

BT is also constantly in search of the Tuscan treasures in the area: the products of the earth and fields, the typical local cuisine and the art and architecture of its ancient medieval villages. BT has done this in order to give people an opportunity to "taste and live" places and feelings normally out of the normal tours.

Amongst the most famous local products in the Certaldo region there are its wines and vintages, which have brought about the success and fame of the Tuscan region throughout the world. Besides the wines, there are also the regional "Pecorino" cheeses and savoured sausages, which combine so well with the local baked bread, their flavours and smells are able to satisfy even the most demanding food connoisseurs.

BT’s latest programme includes also lessons of Tuscan cuisine which are given in local farmhouses. It allows the visitors a great opportunity to see how the local food is prepared, to participate in the preparation of refined dishes, and finally to taste everything with a presentation of wanderful lunches and dinners.
